LJP Waste Solutions is closely monitoring COVID-19 developments including guidance provided by World, Federal, and State health care and disease prevention organizations, including guidance from the CDC on how to handle medical waste or general waste from health care facilities and patients who are infected by the virus. CDC guidance states this waste should be handled in accordance with routine procedures and there is no evidence this waste needs any additional disinfection.

We have implemented procedures to postpone meetings, clean risky areas such as door knobs and handrails often, we are practicing social distancing throughout our facilities, and are encouraging all employees to take the necessary CDC recommended steps to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.
