LJP Commits to a Sustainable Future by Purchasing a New Waste Shredder
LJP Waste Solutions has significantly increased its commitment to a sustainable future by purchasing a new Metso industrial waste shredder to expand its capacity to produce refused derived fuel (RDF) to keep unnecessary waste from going to landfills.
LJP Waste Solutions and our subsidiary Minnesota Waste Processing make RDF for the Xcel Energy Wilmarth power plant in Mankato MN. RDF can be produced from materials such as; non-recyclable plastics, non-recyclable fibers, destroyed products, and other general industrial waste.
LJP’s investment in our new Metso shredder provides us significant capacity to service the growing needs of both our current customers and new customers looking for alternative solutions to landfills and who also share a commitment to a more sustainable future.
Equipment details:
o Shredder is a Metso 4000S-10 manufactured in Denmark
o System is equipped with a Westeria magnet to separate off all ferrous metal
o System is equipped with an Eco Star dynamic disc screen to ensure all fuel is 6 inches or smaller
